During this session, Students on the Chancellor's Student Advisory Council will discuss personal approaches to creating inclusive environments. School Culture: A facilitated student conversation with the Student Voice Manager and student leaders focused on how students with disabilities and their allies experience school climate, student-teacher relationships, and school peer social spaces. Student Strategies for Relationships: Students will share their approaches to addressing moments of harm and moments of inclusion and solidarity in schools. They will share their advice with parents and community members about what support would look and feel like. Stories of Advocacy: How students on the Chancellor's Student Advisory Council utilize their voice and power, maintain a safe and empowering community for advocacy, and create change in their communities and system-wide.
