Sep 1- 1
This session introduces families and community members to the many services and resources offered by New York City libraries. Participants will learn how to obtain a free library card, eligibility requirements, and which cards work across BPL and NYPL systems. It covers youth programming, including after school and summer activities, as well as adult services such as employment support, digital literacy, and lifelong learning opportunities. Attendees will also explore borrowing options beyond books, resources for multilingual families and English language learners, library access for all ages, and how to invite library staff to present at schools or community events.
