This session introduces families to strategies and resources that support literacy, postsecondary access, and equitable educational opportunities. Participants will learn about volunteer tutoring and literacy support through Reading Partners, tracking reading milestones, and using the Reading Partners Resource Hub. It also covers support services available through CUNY CARES, NYCPS translation and interpretation services, multilingual tools for inclusive family engagement, language access rights, and practical strategies for advocating for students and connecting with available supports.
