This session highlighted the role of Queens Public Library and Catholic Charities in supporting families and strengthening communities. Participants learned about the library’s free programs, literacy initiatives, digital access, and lifelong learning opportunities, along with ways to engage local branches for enrichment and support. The presentation also introduced Catholic Charities’ mission of serving vulnerable individuals and families through housing stability, food access, immigration services, and family supports such as case management and referrals. Together, these community partners showcased how their resources and programs promote education, stability, and empowerment for families across New York City.
