This session highlighted the Mayor’s Office of Talent & Workforce Development and the New York Police Department (NYPD). Participants learned about the Mayor’s Office of Talent & Workforce Development’s resources for citywide job postings, internships, and training opportunities, as well as workforce initiatives for youth, caregivers, and career changers. The session also introduced NYPD’s programs that engage youth through mentorship, recreation, and community service, including the Explorers Program, Police Athletic League, and precinct councils, while promoting violence prevention, trust-building, and civic participation. Both offices provide guidance and opportunities that foster economic mobility, safety, and skill-building for families across New York City. Prefer another language?
