During the pandemic, PA's/PTA's & President's Councils put into place practices that were successful and enabled participation virtually. Together: FACE, The Chancellor's Parent Advisory Council (CPAC), and caregivers across the city worked together to add and amend the Regulation A-660.
These revisions are an example of engaging and building capacity of parents. They also create conditions of equitable learning and participation. Providing these new concepts and opportunities to our city's parent leaders further demonstrates how empowerment is essential to children, families, and all NYC school communities.
