From January 24 through January 27, 2023, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) will administer this year’s first Regents Examinations to New York State students.

Students should verify whether they are scheduled to take Regents exams in January by speaking with their teachers or counselors. Likewise, if a qualifying student would like to take a Regents exam this January, they should speak with their counselor.

January’s Regents exams will be held in the following subject areas: English Language Arts, Living Environment, Geometry, Algebra I, Algebra II, Physical Setting/Physics, Global History and Geography II, Physical Setting/Chemistry, and Physical Setting/Earth Science.
