October 30th Panel for Education Policy

The Panel for Educational Policy (PEP) is a 24-member, voting body overseeing New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) and is comprised of community leaders across every neighborhood and borough of New York City. From former educators and principals to advocates and specialists in their field, the Panel is committed to representing the diversity of voice and opinion within New York City school communities and promoting equity in education.

 

 

This meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 6:00 pm (EST) at M.S. 131 (100 Hester Street, Manhattan, New York 10002). All documents for this meeting can also be found on the PEP SharePoint and include the following:

Accessing the Meeting and Registering for Public Comment

If you would like to access this meeting remotely, please visit https://learndoe.org/pep/oct30.

Speaker sign-up will run from 5:30 PM until 6:15 PM on the day of the meeting and is available via the link found here. Speakers may only sign themselves up to speak during the appropriate comment period(s). Each speaker who registers for public comment will be allotted two and a half minutes of speaking time, while each speaker who registers for general public comment will be allotted two minutes. If you would like to submit written comment, please email panel@schools.nyc.gov.

Interpretation Services

Interpretation services will be provided in TBA. If you need interpretation services for other languages, such as American Sign Language (ASL), they will be provided upon request by contacting us at: (212) 374-0226 or panel@schools.nyc.gov
