STEM Matters NYC

Beginning this July, NYC students can participate in FREE experiential learning opportunities through STEM Matters NYC, the NYC Department of Education’s hands-on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning program for City public school students.

 

From now through Wednesday, April 26, City students who will be entering grades kindergarten through 12 in September 2023 can apply for a variety of exciting summer programs located across the five boroughs. Students entering grades K–9 can participate in weeklong camps at places like the New York Aquarium and the Bronx Zoo, while students entering grades 10–12 this September can apply for multi-week programs at the Genovesi Environmental Study Center and the NYC Center for Aerospace and Applied Mathematics, as well as Pellettieri Stone Carvers’ AcademyMakerSpace NYC, the Battery Conservancy, and UrbanGlass.
