 To celebrate, NYC DOT announced free events designed to encourage cycling, promote safety, and celebrate the city's growing bike culture. NYC DOT will host events in May across all five boroughs, including free bicycle helmet fittings, bike light giveaways, educational outreach for delivery workers, and a variety of bicycle-focused programming.
